South Central Michigan Alzheimer's Association
The South Central, Southwest and West Shore chapters of the Alzheimer's Association joined together in 2001 to form the Michigan Great Lakes Chapter. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, the newly-formed chapter has three service regions corresponding to the former chapter areas, and a governing board drawn from these regions. With regional offices in Kalamazoo, Lansing and Muskegon, the Michigan Great Lakes Chapter serves 21 Michigan counties and an estimated 38,000 individuals with Alzheimer's disease.
